Terms & Conditions

By registering for Parul University Navratri 2026, students agree to comply with all the rules, instructions, and guidelines mentioned below.

1. Event Dates & Timings

  • The event will be held from 11 October 2026 to 20 October 2026. (Ratri Before Navratri Date to be announced later)

  • Event timing : 08:30 pm onwards

  • Entry will start at 8:00 PM and close at 10:30 PM sharp every day.

  • Students arriving after the entry closing time may not be permitted to enter the event premises.


2. Garba Categories

Sheri Garba – Special Category [Traditional Garba Zone]

      Once registered, students will not be allowed to change their selected category.
  • Participants in Sheri Garba are required to follow the designated single-circle format.

  • Participants must dance within the designated common circle and must not create separate personal circles/groups.

  • Students are expected to maintain the flow, discipline, and structure of the Garba circle as instructed by event coordinators and volunteers.

  • Participants must follow the instructions given by the Garba coordinators at all times.


General Garba – Open Category

      Once registered, students will not be allowed to change their  selected category.

  • The General Garba area will follow an open participation format (Free Style).

  • Participants may play Garba in the designated area while maintaining proper decorum and respecting other participants.

  • Students registering in General garba are not allowed to play at sheri garba venue.

  • Students must follow the directions of volunteers and coordinators regarding movement, crowd management, and designated playing areas.


3. Dress Code & Security

  • Wearing traditional attire is mandatory (casual wear/shorts will not be allowed).


4. Registration & Event Pass


  • Note : Students will go through the Face recognition system during the entry therefore they are required to insert the correct image during the registration process.

  • The event pass/registration is strictly non-transferable and non-refundable.

  • The QR code against a student's registration can be used only by the registered student.

  • If a student does not attend the event on a particular day, their QR code/pass cannot be transferred or used by another person.

  • The information provided by the student during registration will be considered final. Changes to registered information may not be permitted after registration is completed.

  • Any attempt to misuse, duplicate, share, alter, or reproduce the event QR code may result in blocking the student ID from participating in all the future events.


5. Entry & Security Checks

  • All students are required to cooperate with security personnel and event volunteers during entry and throughout the event.Carrying a valid Parul University Student ID Card is compulsory for entry.

  • Outside food items,water bottles and bags are not allowed inside the venue
  • Students carrying prohibited items may be denied entry or asked to surrender such items as per event/security guidelines.

  • The organizers reserve the right to deny entry to any student who fails to comply with security requirements.


6. Event Discipline & Decorum

  • Any form of misbehaviour, harassment, fighting, threatening behaviour, abusive language, bullying, inappropriate physical contact, or disturbance of other participants will not be tolerated.

  • Students must respect fellow participants, volunteers, security personnel, faculty members, and event organizers.

  • Students must not obstruct entry/exit points, emergency pathways, or designated movement areas.

  • Any kind of misbehaviour with the management will lead to permanent blockage of the enrollment number from all kinds of events.

  • The organizers reserve the right to modify operational arrangements, entry procedures, designated areas, or other event-related guidelines whenever required for safety, security, crowd management, or smooth conduct of the event.

  • Entry will be subject to the maximum permitted capacity of the event venue.

  • Students must remain within their designated Garba/event areas.

  • Entry into restricted, backstage, operational, security, or staff-only areas is strictly prohibited.

  • Students must not cross barricades or designated boundaries.

  • The organizers reserve the right to temporarily restrict entry or movement within any area for crowd-management and safety purposes.

    The event may be cancelled or its duration may be reduced due to rain or any unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.


7. Food Court & Water Facilities

  • Students must not take their food or water bottle out of the food zone area and maintain the cleanliness throughout the venue.

8. Registration Cancellation & Removal from Event

  • The organizers reserve the right to cancel or revoke the registration of any student in case of violation of event rules, university policies, security requirements, or instructions issued by the event management team.

  • The organizers may deny entry to or remove a student from the event premises in case of misconduct or violation of the Terms & Conditions.

  • In such cases, the student may not be eligible for any refund, replacement, or re-entry.

9. Personal Belongings

  • Students are responsible for their own mobile phones, wallets, bags, jewellery, valuables, and other personal belongings.

  • The organizers will not be responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.

  • Students are advised not to carry unnecessary valuables to the event.


10. Photography & Videography

  • Photography and videography may be carried out during the event for event documentation, promotional, social media, and institutional communication purposes.

  • By participating in the event, students acknowledge that they may appear in photographs or videos captured during the event.

  • Students are expected to cooperate with authorized event photography and videography teams.

11. Instructions from Event Management

  • The instructions issued by the event organizers, security personnel, volunteers, and authorized university representatives shall be followed at all times.

  • The organizers reserve the right to modify operational arrangements, entry procedures, designated areas, or other event-related guidelines whenever required for safety, security, crowd management, or smooth conduct of the event.
